Speaker Information

To help ensure smooth session transitions and avoid technical delays, we kindly ask that you copy your presentation slides (PDF or PowerPoint format) to the presentation computer (Room: Thistle 247) either by USB or by emailing them to rnishat@brocku.ca well before your presentation, and no later than the start of the session in which you are speaking.

However, if your presentation requires live demonstrations, software execution, videos, or other special configurations, you are welcome to use your own laptop. In that case, we strongly encourage you to test your setup well in advance of your talk. The rooms have VGA and HDMI cables for presenting from the laptop. We will also have a dongle that can convert from USB-C on Windows laptop to VGA/HDMI. For MacBooks, please bring your own adapter/dongle.

We plan to make presentation slides available through the GD2026 website after the conference. If you prefer not to have your slides posted, or if you would like them removed at any time, please contact d.mondal@usask.ca, and we will remove them.

As a precaution, please keep a backup copy of your presentation on a USB drive. If you do not have a USB drive available, please contact one of the conference volunteers, who can assist you.

The presentation time for each full paper is 20 minutes, consisting of 16 minutes for the presentation followed by 4 minutes for questions and answers. The presentation time for each short paper is 15 minutes, consisting of 11 minutes for the presentation followed by 4 minutes for questions and answers.
